HERMIDALE PUBLIC SCHOOL: Our touch football team put in a fantastic effort in Narromine recently at the Small Schools Touch Football competition. This was the first time our students had actually played a full game together as a team.
At full-time the score was 4-4, extra time was required. Bogan Gate scored the first try in extra time therefore winning the match.
A huge thank you to Keith Gudgeon for all the work he had done with the team leading up to the match. It was great to see the students putting the skills they had learnt into practice.
Also thanks to Rod Dewhurst for coaching on the day, to Mark Keighran for his encouraging comments from the sideline and to Julie McCarthey for supplying some sweet treats and drinks at the end of the match.
