11 Aug 10 | The Nyngan Rotary Club held its annual changeover and dinner and election of office bearers for the coming year at the Outback Motel with guests from far and wide who attended with special guests including past district governor Mr Greg Bevan and partner Lorraine and from Narromine assistant governor Mr Geoff Smith and partner Jenny. Also well represented was Warren Rotary Club.
11 Aug 10 | CWA members held their last meeting at the end of July just after the Group Council meeting at Wanaaring. Hermidale had six members attend that meeting so they all were up to date with the news of group.

They primarily repair faults to landlines in the respective Shires, and have plenty of other work to do when not engaged in landline repairs.

14 Jul 10 | Far Western CWA: On Thursday May 13, 17 Far Western Group CWA members linked up with the Oxley group bus at Nevertire and Warren, then kept on travelling, with an occasional stop to fortify ourselves with food and drink until we arrived at Port Macquarie about 6pm that evening.

Twelve riders comprising a group of family and friends are riding between Oberon and Nyngan.
