24 Feb, 2010 02:56 PM
Katie Ryan commenced her first year of teaching at St Joseph’s School, Nyngan in 2010 after gaining her Bachelor of Education at Charles Sturt University, Dubbo.

Katie is a country girl from Dubbo so adapting to life in the bush is an easy task. She is a keen water-skier and netballer.

Katie is teaching Year 2 at St Joseph’s and is looking forward to her first year with this great class.

Kylie Moody is in her seventh year of teaching and comes to us from Sydney, teaching at St Patrick’s School in Guildford prior to her appointment at St Joseph’s School in Nyngan.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Teaching Degrees at the University of Western Sydney, Penrith.

Kylie enjoys all sport, particularly hockey, softball and horse riding. Kylie is enjoying teaching Years 5 and 6 at St Joseph’s and the different way of life in Nyngan.

Staff, parents and students have made the two girls very welcome and hope they enjoy their stay in Nyngan.
