Steven Kilby is one of the newest members to join the Nyngan Public School staff this year.
He recently completed his Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) degree at Charles Sturt University - Bathurst.
Steven’s interests include a range of outdoor activities such as running, mountain bike riding and water skiing.
He has already become involved in the local touch football competition, proving himself to be a valuable asset to Flashman Flashers.
You may see Steven and his fiancée, Nicole bike riding and running around Nyngan as they keep fit for the competitions they compete in.
Steven is currently teaching Year 4 and is looking forward to a rewarding year.
Kristen O’Toole is originally from Somersby on the NSW Central Coast. She studied Forestry and Asian Studies at the Australian National University in Canberra. Kristen continued her studies at Newcastle University, Ourimbah Campus, earning her teaching degree.
Kristen has previously taught at Yetman, near the Queensland border, and moved to Nyngan, with her dog, and obtained a position at Nyngan High School.
This year Kristen holds the position of Rural Area Relief Teacher at Nyngan Public School.
Kristen enjoys attending regular dance classes at the Palais Theatre, reading and spending time with new friends in Nyngan.
The staff and students welcome Steve and Kristen to Nyngan Public School and look forward to working with both of them.
