The newly completed entrance ramp will make access to our library much easier for all of our clients.
It has improved the appearance of the library’s entrance immensely and complements the new automatic doors which were installed last September.
These improvements will assist wheelchair and gopher users to enter the library with ease.
We have had many good comments from clients.
First story time for 2012 was held on Tuesday and continues fortnightly on February 21, March 6 and 20 and the final one for term 1 will be April 3 commencing at 10.30am. All pre-school children and mums/carers are welcome to participate.
A reminder that the library will be hosting a morning tea on February 14, ‘Library Lovers Day’ to launch 2012 as the National Year of Reading. Come along and join us in a cuppa to celebrate the joy of reading.
NetWaste has dropped in a recycling competition to remind Nyngan residents of the items which can be recycled.
The prize, which is a plate made of recycled magazines, will be drawn by February 16.
To enter simply fill in your name and phone number and list three things that shouldn’t be put in your recycle bin.
Our library is well resourced with reading material for all ages: DVDs and CDs, talking book CD’s, MP3s and Playaways for both adult and juniors. There is plenty of free entertainment to borrow for the wet days we are having.
