Of course winning this award did not surprise us because we know we have the best club!

The prize for winning this was $1000 worth of saddlery donated by Horseland. At lunch time at the rally on November 15 the big box was opened by all the children present. Such excitement when they saw the variety of stuff.

The children then had their photo taken with the saddlery in front of the clubhouse.

The very hot weather we have experienced somewhat marred our monthly rally and riding ceased at lunchtime.

An impromptu meeting was held after lunch to decide a date for our Christmas breakup and another date to choose who wins all the trophies.

The choosing of the winners will be done on Monday November 30 by executive and instructors. The Christmas party and prize giving will be on Friday December 11. Our twilight gymkhana will be held on Saturday November 28, registrations 3pm. Also don’t forget the Mid West Equestrian Club ODE on November 21-22.

Our very talented rider Lizzie Hoy will be attending the pony club association’s State camp in the middle of January 2010. This will be a wonderful experience. The Hoys have attended a show at Canberra this past weekend.
