Week one, Myrtle B and Maureen drew Bill and newcomer Elsie and they won 16-4.

Next up was Jean and Margaret who beat Gwen and Myrtle S 8-6. The final went to Jean and Margaret 5-1 over Myrtle and Maureen.

Bill won the door prize. Last week there were 14 players which was great, but our scorer was quite worn out at the end by trying to help the new bowlers, keeping everyone on the go plus score, job well done.

First up was Myrtle B and Margaret S against Fran and Margaret who won 6-3, Marie and Dorothy took on Bill and Elsie and beat them 7-5.

Iris and Maureen beat Gwen and her sister Ethel 11-3. Then came Jean and Myrtle up against Gwen and Myrtle B who beat them 10-3.

In the play-offs Fran and Margaret beat Dorothy and Marie 5-2 and in the next game Gwen and Myrtle 4-0 soundly beat Iris and Maureen.

Gwen and Myrtle B 4-3 took out the final from Fran and Margaret. Marie won the door prize.
