Murphy’s Mob leads field home at golf

09 Feb, 2012 10:03 AM
Round nine winners of twilight golf were ‘Murphys Mob’. It’s the fourth time they have been the best or second best this year but overall they are quite a few points behind the leading bunch.

‘Kevin Martin Plumbing’ took out the runner-up prize on a countback. Sunday’s ambrose went ahead on a very heavy track.

The winners were Graham Tomek and Marty Carthew with a handy 33.88 nett. A small margin over their nearest rivals, Chook Hawley and Andy Lane on 34.25 nett. The pin winner was Codge McCarthy.

There are new rule books available from the clubhouse. No great changes to the rules, but a few have been modified and some others are more clearly defined.

Badge draw this Thursday night is for a handy $400.
