The ladies have been busy attending President’s days. Melissa Arandale’s team was the winner at Cobar, with Liz Wynne’s team taking home the morning trophy and Jenny Parry’s team taking home the afternoon trophy. Resters were won by Liz Wynne and Lyn Hawley.
The ladies then went to Tottenham and acquitted themselves well there also. Third on the representative calendar was Delegate’s Day at Narromine, the girls had a great day here too.
Big fields took to the bowling greens during the past week and the results are as follows:
Golden Oldies Tuesday winners: Doug McDermott, John Quee and Ron Sullivan.
Wednesday winners: Mary Arandale and John Quee, runner-up: Melissa Arandale and Alan Tandy.
Friday winners: Mick Parry and Haley Lane.
Sunday winners: Mary Millar and Rick Pitt, Runner up: Rick Jermyn and Frank Walsh.

Single nominations, check the flyers around town, all are welcome to come and have lots of fun and raise some money for a very worthy cause the McGrath Foundation. Lots of prizes have been donated by Khans IGA and Tritton Mines, raffles and an auction to be held. So come along have a game of bowls and enjoy the experience at our friendly family club.
Ladies championship pairs final will be played at 10am on Saturday September 19 between Jenny Chalker and Tayla Conway versus Helen Beetson and Jenny Parry. Check the board for play dates for championship games and for any invitations and tournaments coming up.
New starting time of bowls on Wednesdays, please take note: names in by 2pm and play to start at 2.30pm. Raffle seller this week is Joy DeeBank and September 23 is Alison Hampstead.
