Rodis, Ryan to play Lee and Vane in pairs final

Pairs championship first round:

Mick Walsh (Chalkie) and Patrick Hogan defeated Mal McBrien and Kevin Reynolds.

Jake and Kelvin Waterhouse defeated Wayne Arandale and Les Bexon.

John Wynne and Michael Walsh defeated Rick Jermyn and Andrew Reynolds.

Quarter-final:

Adam Lee and Rex Vane defeated Tom O’Neill and Phil Gibson.

Jake and Kelvin Waterhouse defeated Mick Walsh (chalkie) and Patrick Hogan.

Craig Rodis and Rodney Ryan defeated John Wynne and Michael Walsh after an extra end had to be played.

Mick Parry and Peter McKecknie defeated Barry Beetson and Adam Jermyn after an extra end.

Semi-final:

Craig Rodis and Rodney Ryan defeated Jake and Kelvin Waterhouse.

Adam Lee and Rex Vane defeated Mick Parry and Peter McKecknie.

The final will be played on Saturday February 11 at 1pm.

Twilight bowls round winners and catch-up games:

Mick Parry’s team defeated Rodney Ryan’s team.

Les Bexon’s team defeated Tom Howard’s team.

Tom O’Neil’s team defeated Adam Lee’s team.

Brian Bonello’s team defeated Mal McBrien’s team.

Craig Rodis should be cherry ripe for the final of the pairs championship on Saturday after playing in the Golden Eagle at Orange during the week. Best wishes for all these games.

Events coming up:

Trial side pennant practise Friday February 10 at 6pm. Full dress.

Saturday February 11, 1pm final of pairs. Adam Lee and Rex Vane verses Craig Rodis and Rodney Ryan. A must-see game so be there. Best wishes to all players.

Ladies sheets are on the board for all championship nominations. Put your names in if you wish to play in these events.

Weekly social bowls starting time:

Tuesday: Golden Oldies names by 10 am

Twilight teams Wednesday and Thursday night

Friday night: Names in by 5.30pm

Sunday: Names by 10am
