Dryland drama for one splasher at season’s end
01 Apr 10 | SPLASHERS: The last swim of the season 2009-2010 had four breakers in the heats and in the 30m final, the handicapper didn’t count up to the correct number leaving one swimmer out of the race.
18 Mar 10 | SPLASHERS: A cool Sunday morning brought eight swimmers to the pool with the water being on the cool side.
Bright and Riley can’t be split in 'Dash for Cash' at swim titles
18 Mar 10 | The Nyngan Swimming Club hosted its club championships on Sunday March 7 with a cool but successful day.
03 Mar 10 | The swimming club will be holding its club championships followed by the annual ‘Dash for Cash’ race and Business House Relay on Sunday March 7 at 1.30pm.
17 Feb 10 | The swimming club will be holding their club championships on Sunday March 7 starting at 1.30pm. Each child that competes will swim in that age group they are on the day of the carnival. They also need to have had five club swims.
04 Feb 10 | SPLASHERS: Another Sunday morning brought eight swimmers. Numbers might have been down but times were close.
Non-finisher makes history
27 Jan 10 | Sunday January 24 was a day for the history books as it was the second time in club history a swimmer gave up and got out of the pool before finishing his race in the 50m final.
Nyngan swimmers
03 Dec 09 | Nyngan swimmers attended Cobar and Bourke carnivals recently, both days were very successful for all the children with PB’s and placings in all events.
11 Nov 09 | The swimming season has kicked off well with two weeks of swimming and more than 80 registered swimmers so it looks to be a good year.
