After a tight struggle all day Mandy Martin annexed another Nyngan Open to her glory chest, a 39 on the front nine had her level pegging with a young rising star Hannah Smith from Tottenham.

The lead changed several times on the way home until the 13th and 14th where Hannah dropped behind.
They had identical scores from then on with the final result a 38 to Mandy and a 40 to Hannah, a two-shot margin in the end for Mandy.
Hannah has all her golf ahead of her and should win plenty. Congratulations to both.
B Grade winner was another local lass Colleen Anderson. She had 92 gross with a few ordinary holes on the back, otherwise her game was her usual steady self.
The runner-up was Glenis Prisk from Cobar, a long way behind Colleen with a neat 100 off the stick.
Congratulations to both Colleen and Glynis for their efforts as well.
Saturdays 4-ball was won in convincing style by Codge McCarthy and Dave Buggy with 46 points. Codge, on his day, can play as well as anyone and Dave goes AWOL at times then produces a lot of heavy scoring holes.
Runners-up were Andy Lane and Pat Walsh with 44 points. Scratch winners were Text Tomek and Anthony Ah-See.
Pin winners were Deb Matheson, Andy, Matho then an eagle plus a pin to Mr R C.
The ladies would like to thank the many helpers.

Most dedicated players were the couple of Bre golfers who went back to the cowal after their round to retrieve their drowned balls and managed to fish out seven.
Badge draw for Thursday night is for $500. Golf next Saturday is a par event. The men have their foursomes championship on Sunday with a 9.30am start. The ladies have the popular Jean McChesney Shield American 2-ball, normal start time.
