Chad Schofield will seek advice from his management and family on Friday before he decides whether to lodge an appeal against an improper riding charge from Wednesday's meeting at Mornington.

The 20-year-old was outed for 32 meetings, returning on Caulfield Cup day on October 18.
"We'll just let the dust settle. I've arranged to meet Chad and we'll go through the tape and then look at whether we lodge an appeal," Schofield's manager Mark Van Triet said on Thursday.
Stewards told Schofield, who rode Saguaro at Mornington, that he turned his horse's head on Michelle's Payne mount, Something To Share, at the 1100-metre mark and twice heavily bumped her horse forcefully to the 850-metre mark.
Schofield's second improper riding charge will cost the son of leading Sydney jockey Glyn two group 1 rides.
Team Williams had booked him for Melbourne Cup winner Green Moon in the Turnbull Stakes at Flemington on October 4 and he was to ride Sistine Demon in the Rupert Clarke Stakes on Sunday week.
The suspension, Schofield's 20th in the past two years, has sparked debate about his the relationship with chief steward Terry Bailey.
Bailey has said repeatedly that there was no animosity between them and he was prepared to go through the tapes of races in the past with the jockey.
*Trainer Mike Moroney's Irish mare Voleuse De Coeurs' Melbourne Cup campaign is over after being taken to the Werribee Veterinary Clinic on Wednesday with an infection.
"We noticed last Saturday that there seemed to be a problem on a front hoof," Moroney said. "The next day we put a poultice on it but when we went to change the poultice the problem hadn't improved.
"However, on Wednesday the infection burst and vets have taken a culture to see exactly what caused it, but unfortunately her spring carnival is over.
"It's bad luck. This year's Melbourne Cup is very winnable and she's a lovely 3200-metre stayer who would have been at her peak of maturity," Moroney said.
Moroney is still a good chance to win the Melbourne Cup with strong stayer Araldo, and on Saturday week his third-string Melbourne Cup hopeful, Manduro's Son, will fly into Melbourne after being bought in France.
"I'm thrilled the way Araldo is going and we're pretty excited to see how Manduro's Son measures up, but he's a real handicapper who we think will be suited in Victoria," he said.
