This will be my last message from the museum as I have now retired from my position as co-ordinator and Stewart McKenzie will take my place. I will still be at the museum, rostered on as a volunteer, so please come and say hello.

Our next Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday November 5 at 9.30am.
We are inviting anyone who would like to join our volunteers to come along, we need lots of helpers in 2015.
We are all looking forward to next year as it will be full of change and exciting projects as plans are already on the way for a display to commemorate the centenary of Anzac Day.
AGL Solar is hoping to set up a display so that visitors can appreciate how the system will work when it is complete.
We are very pleased to hear that our friends Val and Allen Hartwig will soon be returning to Nyngan.
Val was always a great volunteer so perhaps she will fill some of the empty spaces on our roster, especially as she is so interested in the museum.
We are also sad to say goodbye to one of our long-serving members, Anne Cummings, who is retiring to Orange to be nearer her grandchildren. All our best wishes go with her.
As the calendar is rather full for the rest of the year, a date for our Christmas celebrations will be decided at the next meeting.
I will take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who have worked alongside me for the past 24 years, as well as the townspeople who have supported me in my projects along the way.
Some of these, such as Back to Nyngan Weeks, school reunions and 130th birthday celebrations would never have succeeded without your help.
My final job is to offer everyone my very best for the Christmas season and wish you all a very happy new year for 2015.
Aunty Glad
