The word is out - the water at the Splashatorium has warmed up, resulting in 14 Splashers turning up for their Sunday morning ritual.
The Flying Finn Family sent two of their flock to land on the pond and test the waters – there will be a huge influx of Finns next week I am sure.
Welcome to a new Splasher, Reece “not another” Tyack, who swam admirably on his first outing and will be a huge asset to the club.
He has yet to earn his unique identifying Splasher name…

It was great to see Col Our Mate Eldridge back in the water after an injury forced him out of his Speedos and to see him snaring a chook from under the noses of the young guns.
A message has been received from Curly Col Cluderay and his Chicken Queen who have been performance training in the Great Southern Ocean and will be returning to show us how to do it.
After his tardiness last week Nigel Swivelneck Tyack arrived very early and was playing with balls in the pool when we arrived - volleyballs are such fun to play with and a couple of the boys joined in the game.
Greg Sneakin Deacon was a no-show once again - maybe they need to do a crocodile cull in Cairns to find his missing pieces…?
A rumour was heard during the week that Pete Hargreaves is keen to join Splashers but despite our long wait he failed to show…where are you Pete?
Please note there will be a Western Districts committee meeting at the RSL Club this Sunday at 1.30pm to prepare for the carnival on February 8 2015.
New members are always welcome - we meet at the pool every Sunday morning at 9am followed by the famous Splashers’ breakfast at the RSL Club.
