Nominees, finalists and semi-finalists will travel to Sydney from across the state to celebrate the achievements and accolades of young people.
Ken Taylor, SMC Conference and Function Centre said they were excited to host such an amazing event to celebrate the achievements of young people throughout NSW and the ACT.
“We are looking forward to welcoming young people and their families in March for a celebration of youth achievement,” he said.
“We encourage our community to
recognise an outstanding young person today.”
Nominate a young achiever you know aged between 12 and 28 in any of the following categories:
o The Australian Super Career Kick Start Award
o The Santos Indigenous Achievement Award
o The Australian National University Science Leadership Award
o The Coffee Club Arts and Award
o The Bartercard Leadership and Innovation Award
o The Who Printing Environment and Sustainability Award
o The Freemasons of NSW and ACT Community Service Award
Each winner will receive $2000 and a hand-crafted glass trophy.
All winners will go into the running to be announced as the ‘Overall Young Achiever of the Year’.
The winner will receive a Thailand accommodation package thanks
to Bartercard and an iPad thanks to Nova 96.9.
Winners will be announced in Sydney at the Gala Dinner Presentation at the SMC Conference and Function Centre, on Saturday March 21 2015.
The NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards are proudly presented by Channel 7, PRIME7 and Major Media Partner NOVA 96.9FM.
