o The vocal crowd enjoyed the night’s entertainment.
TROY RICHARDS
The shed boxing club held its annual Fight Night on November 8.
The old outside picture theatre right in the middle of town turned out to be the perfect venue for an outside boxing tournament.
The weather was absolutely brilliant and the large vocal crowd seemed to be having a ball.
Although there weren’t as many local boxers as there were at the last fight night the quality of fights was very impressive.
To the Shed Boxing Club fighters I am extremely proud of the way you all performed and the good sportsmanship that all of you showed even when some dubious decisions were made.
Thank you to all my friends and family who helped during the night to make it run smoothly, I could not have done this without your help.
Once again I must thank all the sponsors that made the fight night possible.
Most people have no idea the cost of running an event like this entitles.
Without the generous sponsorship it would be almost impossible to have a fight night. Thank you all once again.
To all the Nyngan community and other people who travelled to support our night, thank you very much and thank you for being a well-behaved crowd.
Thank you to the Bogan Shire for getting the venue up to scratch for the night and for letting me stage the fight night there. Thank you to Angie White for the use of the hall as well.
To anyone out there who is curious about boxing as a sport or for exercise, come and be part of our club, all boxing and exercise classes are free, all you have to do is show respect to everyone in the gym and to support our fight night.
Hope to see some new faces.
