As the Bogan Shire Council had allowed us to use the Supper Room at the Town Hall for Monday night’s dancing free of charge, we decided to donate $1000 to the Nyngan Hospital Auxiliary.
Rhonda Baden, president of the auxiliary, was pleased to accept a cheque for this amount from Clyde Cook, co-ordinator of our dance group.
The auxiliary has undertaken the massive project of fundraising and purchasing new, specially-designed beds for the Mick Glennie Hospital and this donation will contribute greatly to the cost of one bed, each bed costing $1700.
We wish the auxiliary well in its fundraising endeavours.
