Nyngan Senior Rugby League are excited to announce the new team of coaching staff for the 2015 season.
Local boy Byron Warren has made the move back to Nyngan and will be taking on the role of captain-coach.
Byron started his stellar football career with the Tigers and is excited at the prospect of playing footy with his mates again whilst leading them to a long-awaited victory.
Brad Besant will also be returning to the Tigers in 2015 as assistant coach to the first grade squad.
Having coached the Tigers in the past, Brad is confident the upcoming season will be our best season yet.
Tigers stalwart Alister ‘Egg’ Quarmby is assuming the role of reserve grade coach. Egg has played with all the boys and is hoping to lead the boys to back-to-back premierships.
Under 18’s will be coached under the experienced and watchful eye of ‘super coach’ Col Wright.
Long-time club member, Jeremy ‘Sav’ Whaley will be assisting Col with the mentoring and guidance of our young Tigers.
John Tyson is also returning this year and will be working extensively with all three grades concentrating this year on fitness and skills training.
With Tyso’s help we are bound to be the most resilient club in the group.
We can also finally confirm the rumours are true.
Hometown hero James Neyland is returning to his old stomping ground.
Neylo is eager to lace up the boots, don the black and gold and take the field.
With the return of some strong players and new coaching strategies we are looking forward to a 2015 Tigers whitewash victory.
