Barry Beetson, Andrew Reynolds, Paul Williams and Darrell Anderson took a trip to Lake Cargelligo to play in the Men’s Bowls Carnival during the weekend.
The games consisted of fours, triples, pairs and single events. Barry and Andrew made it to the final of the pairs but had to settle for second place. Will let you know if there is more news next week.
Golden Oldies: Winners - Paul Williams and Mary Arandale.
Sunday morning bowls: Winners - Kevin Reynolds, Rose Ryan and Dan O’Connell. Welcome to the bowling club Dan and also welcome another new bowler Zane Westover who has had a few games and is very keen on the game.
Wednesday night bowls: Winners - Petar McKechnie and Wayne Kearns.
The badge draw for $300 is tonight and also on Sunday February 1 between 2 and 3pm. Robb’s second chance draw is also on tonight. You have to be at the club to win any of these draws. Robb’s Butchery meat draws are on Wednesday nights.
Ladies there are sheets on the board for nominations for 2015 championship games. Please fill your name in for the various championship games. Nominations will close February 8, 2015.
Men take note there are sheets on the board for nominations for major championship games. So get your names in so as not to miss out on any events.
Sunday IGA vouchers at approximately 1pm
The bowling club is running a raffle for a pool table which will be drawn Easter Friday. Tickets are $2 each or three tickets for $5. No need to be at the draw to win this prize.
Twilight bowlers do not forget that this event commences again on Wednesday February 4. All should be refreshed after the holidays and raring to go. See you all there.

Wednesday night: names by 5.30m, start 6pm
Tuesday Golden Oldies: names in by 10am
Friday night: names in by 5.30pm, start 6pm
Sunday: names in by 9.30am, start 10am
