Adam Willner from the Australian Business Apprenticeships Centre organised the paperwork in conjunction with Simon Stuart- Skilltrain the RTO.
The venture’s management team decided a Certificate III in civil-plant operations was the appropriate course that would benefit the project and staff, as well as allowing all training to be undertaken on site.
Dylan Chadburn (Nyngan), Tony Sparkes (Dubbo), Eric Newman (Qld) and Mark Carlaw (Ballina) all completed their courses.
When the project finishes for Nyngan local Mr Chadburn and workmate Mr Carlaw they will take with them valuable training and much sort after operator tickets.
