It was an historical game on Sunday and to say the girls were a little nervous would be an understatement.
Coach John Tyson said he “was both surprised and pleased with their performance”.
“They stuck to the structure and only need to improve on their defense,” he said.
For their very first game the girls were very entertaining and showed they were certainly going to be very competitive in this year’s competition.
Next week the games will be held on Saturday afternoon at Narromine with the first game kicking off at 2pm.
For a great and entertaining day, come along to Narromine to support the Nyngan Tigers.

The Under 18s boys for the first in many of years had the numbers to fill a squad and it is good to see plenty of new faces playing.
The boys were a bit sluggish to start, allowing Wellington to find their feet and run them around the park.
The forwards worked tirelessly all game to try and set a platform but mistakes kept the boys behind the pace of the game.
Lee Wright has found his feet since he went into breeding chooks so keep going Lee.
Though missing the win, going down 32-22, there were plenty of positives to come from the game and they will only get better with a lot more hard work. So keep it up boys.
