College Registrar Michael Hissey commented “All Saints’ is very proud of the strong historical connection with the families of central NSW, especially from the Nyngan district’’.
“These families have been educating their sons and daughters at this great school for many generations,’’ he said.
Mr Hissey explained an interesting movement in the All Saints’ College enrolments.
“Over the past few years, we have found that an increasing number of our enrolment enquiries are from families considering completing their children’s education at All Saints’, most especially in the all-important middle years of high school,’’ he said.
“The college consistently rates amongst the top schools in the state and with this in mind, many families are sending their children to All Saints’ to commence in Years 9, 10 and 11 in order to maximise HSC results.
“With vast experience in providing sensitive support for our all of our students, the All Saints’ boarding team carefully assists students who may be entering boarding life for the first time during the middle years of high school.”
Head of All Saints’ College Dr Peter Miller says of his recent visit to Nyngan “our links with the district are very important to All Saints’.
“We have had a strong and lasting presence in the Nyngan district for well over 100 years and I look forward to meeting more families from the district at the coming 2015 Ag Expo.”
