Motorbike riders from around the state stopped in the shire on their way to the Red Centre, their week-long journey raising awareness of depression and suicide prevention.
With more than 500 registered riders from around Australia, this ride is the largest in Black Dog’s six years of fundraising.
Funds raised from the ride support the roll-out of Mental Health First Aid’s Teen Program to Australian schools nationwide and build the capacity of Lifeline’s online Crisis Support Chat.
The riders stopped at about 12.30pm on Sunday for lunch in Davidson Park and departed at 2pm for Cobar.
Participants are expecting to arrive at Uluru on Friday.
