He paired up with Gary “Corp” Knight to get third place in the relay.
Ngaire “Hot Chilli” Booth busted all her swimming times on Sunday powering through the water way too fast - a steroid drug test might be needed. Lyn “Mouse” Faulks, thinking it’s December, must have had too many Christmas beers on Saturday night only getting third in the 100 metres.
Noel “Power Pole” Finn was on fire getting a place in three events. Along with Lisa “Little Spark” Herbert the duo also got second place in the relay.
Lisa “Little Spark” Herbert got a huge 16 points for the morning with Nigel “Swivel Neck” close by with 14 points.
Poor “Swivel Neck” he is missing Penny “Bomber” Hoy in their usual pair-up in the brace relay. Curly Col Clauderay was feeling fit, not on the nurofen this week.
“Feeling on top of the world, now that I’m on those little blue tablets,” he said.
Vicky “Chicken Queen” had a smile from ear to ear getting third in the 50 metres, first in the 100 metres and taking out the brace with her handsome husband.
This kept Noel “Power Pole” Finn and Lisa “Little Spark” Herbert in second place once again. A special birthday wish to Wendy “Tick Tock” Lovett for last Saturday.
“Tick Tock” is the main lady in charge of all the time-keeping of the morning.
We hope you had a great birthday, Ron. “Rollin’ Ron” Lovett is a true romantic, taking his wife out for lunch and giving her flowers, but it soon turned bad with “Rollin’ Ron” having too many beverages and poor “Tick Tock” having to tow him home on her gopher. Better luck next year “Rollin’ Ron.”
Hope to see a few more on the blocks next week, we are still waiting for you Max Healey.
