Twenty-two-year-old Taryn Kelly from Enngonia, fronted Nyngan court last month charged with high-range speeding.
Magistrate Stewart warned Ms Kelly of the dangers of her driving.
“It’s important you live a long and healthy life and not die in an MVA (motor vehicle accident),” he said.
Ms Kelly said she was overtaking a truck on January 19 this year when she was caught doing more than 45km/h over the speed limit.
The police suspended her licence on the spot.
Because of this Magistrate Stewart ordered Ms Kelly was to get her licence back on July 18, six months after the offence.
“I’m pleased to see no other offences,” he said.
“Now that you have your P’s protect them. It’s important you don’t drive you could lose them for up to six months.”
