Congratulations to Liz Wynne, Deb Vane and Melissa Arandale on winning overall with six wins with 79 points which is an outstanding feat. Ladies bowlers come from all the state to contest in this event.
State of Origin Night was a great success with everyone enjoying themselves. We had raffles and tipping contests.
The winners were grinners with Alex Miles QLD and Steven Read NSW who each won a Chinese meal and 10 scratchies plus $40 to buy their mates a beer. Still waiting!
Pick the score was won by Kevin Miles, pick the margin was Allan Cameron, pick the first time first point scored in the first half won by Craig Grimmond and pick the time last point scored in the 2nd won by Lyn Faulks.
Tonight is the Robb’s Butchery draw for $100. Make sure you are at the club or you will miss out.
The Badge draw is also Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Members take note club membership is due and to be paid by June 30.
Ladies there will be a meeting at the club on Wednesday at 5.30pm. All ladies please attend.
Ladies do not forget the date for the Annual General Meeting which will be held on Wednesday July 20.
So get your nominations in for positions which are necessary for smooth running of the bowling club.
The West Bogan Shield will be held on Saturday, July 30. Ladies get your names down for this event.

The weekend was busy with Championship games being played in very cold conditions owing to time running out for some games to be played.

Triples: Kevin Reynolds, Mick McGlynn and Patrick Hogan defeated Mick Walsh, Tristan Dal Forno and Tim Ryan.
Handicap Singles: Petar McKechnie defeated Ron Sullivan.
Semi- final of Consistency Joy Deebank defeated Alison Hampstead. Joy will now face Dianne Wynne in the final.
Golden Oldies: winners Paul Walsh and Richard Riley and last week Richard Riley, Paul Walsh and Paul Williams in a triples game this week in a game of triples.
