The attempted sale of a live feral pig was blocked when the Central West Local Lands Services (LLS) found the pig at a regional saleyard.

Under the direction of the LLS, the pig was withdrawn from the sale and destroyed.
The consignee will be held liable for all costs and may face fines. The LLS said selling feral pigs in a domestic sale will threaten market access and biosecurity of other producers.
