Handicap Pairs round: Winners Pat Wynne and Allan Cameron defeated Phil Gibson and Tom O’Neill.

Consistency round: Mick McGlynn defeated Petar McKechnie. Golden Oldies winner Ron Sullivan and Wayne Kearns.

Jackpot Sunday was held on Sunday mornings 24th and drew a full green of bowlers.

This was great fun day playing for a rester or nearest to the Jack. The winner of bowls was Rodney and Rose Ryan.

Thereafter the winner had first go at Jack 2nd and 3rd place and so on but no one had a rester for the next two rounds of play until it came down to the third round in which the person nearest to the jack would become the winner.

Doreen read was the lucky winner and sharing the prize money with her partner Richard Riley.

If you missed a game this weekend no worries as the same game will be played again on July 31.

It is single nominations over 18 ends and cost is $7.

Prize money $200 for the jack winners.

Winners get to have first crack at the jack then every other team gets to have a shot at being the closest until won on the day.

A rester will win it for you or it will come down to the nearest. See rules at the club.

Members take note club membership fees for 2016 are overdue. If you are not current with your membership you cannot play championship games or win a badge draw etc.

The West Bogan Shield will be held on Saturday July 30 with a 9.30 start with two games of 14 ends.

The game is triples. Cost is $15 per person, lunch and morning tea provided. A sheet is on the board for single nominations.

Ladies there are not many nominations on the board so please get your name down.

Dates have been placed on the ladies board for all championship games except for the championship fours so make sure you check the board and who you might be playing against.
