Senior Constable Dan Cooper pulled over an unfamiliar car in Nyngan after midnight on Sunday, August 21.
He pulled over the car – seen as suspicious – in Cathundril Street, a residential street that runs parallel to Pangee St.
Police said they stopped the car after observing it driving in a random manner around residential streets.
Senior Constable Cooper said the driver of the car seemed nervous when he approached the vehicle.
“I saw gloves and a screwdriver and no tool box,” he said.
The driver was a 45-year-old man from Warren.
He was charged with possession of house breaking implement.
This gave Senior Constable Cooper grounds to search the car.
Senior Constable Cooper said: “I found three plastic bags believed to be cannabis, ecstasy and ice.
“There was also found an ice pipe,” he said.
Police seized the substances.
The man was arrested at the scene and issued with court attendance notices.
The man has been charged with being in possession of house breaking inplements, possess prohibited drugs and posses implement to use drugs.
The man has been granted bail.
He is due to appear in court on September 28 in Nyngan.
