“There would not be a one person standing that has not got the whole community at heart. I know there isn’t a bucket of money hiding to fix all our wants. I believe people should vote for who they think is best for the job.

“On crime: jobs and strong family is the way to get our crime levels down. I hope the ideas I have will assist some decisions council makes in the future if elected.

“On the subject of mining, like clearing, if done in a responsible way, then I am all for it. It brings in more jobs, better run farms which hopefully means more families moving to the Nyngan area. 

“On signage for the Shire I believe that like Warren sign says welcome to Warren, Nevertire and Collie, Nyngan should say the same with Hermidale, Coolahbah and Girilambone added.

“Shop owners will come and go but I am more worried if a fire did take out some of our main street shops would the owners rebuild or would they end up like the Barret’s Hotel? Leaking verandahs and blocked gutters are a problem.

“The shire needs more business to operate in town. This to me is our biggest hurdle. A machinery agent, wheat processing plant, chicken growing enterprises, I believe should be encouraged to come here.”
