Practitioner Jenny Zeng said protesters, including several persecuted people, wanted to stop the practice of jailing, torturing and harvesting the organs of Falun Gong practitioners under the communist government.
“We want Australian Parliament House to...urge the Chinese communist government to stop the persecution of the Falun Gong,” Ms Zeng said.
“We’d like the local people to know if you go to China to do organ transplant it means maybe one innocent people died in China.”
Falun Gong is a spiritual exercise and meditation regime.
