The AGM followed with our three principal officer bearers being re-elected. President Betty Jackson gave an excellent report of the year’s activities, which added up to a very busy 12 months. Thanks to all our members who have given so much time and effort to keep our branch running smoothly.
An invitation was received to Cobar branch for their 90th anniversary on October 15 and a notice regarding the Nymagee Flower Show on the same day.
Our annual “cakeless” street stall took place on October 14. a big thank you to those who sold tickets and supplied so many potted plants to sell.
We do appreciate the support of the local community and we congratulate Ruth Williamson and Anne Quarmby who were our winners.
The annual International Quiz will take place at midday on Friday, November 4 to be followed by our monthly meeting at 1.30pm. Marcia Nicholls and Margie Dunn will be the hostesses.
