The fun day raises awareness of mental ill health and is a successful national stigma campaign.
Ability Links’ Orana Far West Linker Wendy Beetson said the day was a great success and was supported by many businesses, services and the staff at the local hospital.
“I had two stalls down the main street at different locations throughout the day handing out information on looking after mental health, stress less tips and contact details of organisations to assist people,” said Wendy.
Staff from the Commonwealth Bank, IGA Supermarket, Mick the local postie and students all supported the important campaign.
Wendy is encouraging people to have a conversation about mental health and get rid of the stigma.
