We can simply add the celebration of his birth to all the other things we celebrate at this time of the year.
But seriously, welcome to this celebration of the birth of the Christ Child which for Christians is their number one focus at this time of the year.
Christians believe in a God who cares for them and who is active throughout history on their behalf.
This is brought home to us especially when we recall that God loved the world so much that he sent his only son into the world on what might be the greatest rescue mission in human history.
