President Read reports the results could have gone either way having the game locked up by the end of the day, so they played an extra end.
“Rex Vane was one down when he left the head and played a brilliant bowl, drawing the shot with only three inches and sending his team into the final,” Read said.
The hard fought final was won by Read, Vane and Reynolds, from the Walshes and Beetson.
“There can only be one winner but the Nyngan Club was a winner as we start to produce some very good players,” Read said.
“They are getting out there having a go and playing for their club.”
Vane, Reynolds and Read will take their talents to Dubbo this Saturday to compete at Dubbo City.
