After our extremely hot summer, followed by the recent welcomed falls of rain, gardeners everywhere are busy restoring their gardens. And the Garden Club is again in full swing. The February meeting was to be our AGM, but as many members were  attending Bill Linke's funeral, the election of office bearers has been postponed till our March 27 meeting. We extend our deepest sympathy to our long term member, Kay Linke. Our March meeting is to be held at Ray and Di Donald's home, “Rutherglen”, and we are hoping for a great roll up of members, full of ideas. Wellington Open Gardens later on in the year is definitely on the agenda. Some members are attending the Melbourne Flower Show towards the end of March and this event could well be considered as a likely destination for next year. Please bring cuttings etc for the Trading Table as some members have suffered significant plant losses over the summer. The March meeting starts at 10am, followed by morning tea. New members welcome.
