The event will start with a parade lap at the 2017 Australian Muscle Car Masters in Sydney in October, teams will then go on a journey through the ACT and Victoria before finishing in Adelaide in November.
This year’s route includes a tour of the National War Memorial, a Snowy Mountains cruise, fun racing events at Winton Motor Raceway and the Portland Drags with self-professed rev head and former Australian Top Gear host Shane Jacobson along for the ride. The event is open to cars built between 1963 to 1977. Replicas are welcome and organisers will also consider special interest vehicles. Now in its sixth year, the Aussie Muscle Car Run involves drivers from all over Australia and their much loved, iconic beasts taking to the road to raise funds for the organisation, which helps support the 60,000 Australians currently living with a blood cancer.
