Marra Creek Public School, Hermidale School and Girilambone School gathered in Nyngan to compete in the joint athletics carnival.
Marra Creek principal Marnie Hibbins said it was a great day.
“Marra Creek hosted Hermidale and Girilambone for the carnival and students gave their all to compete in track and field events,” she said.
Girilambone public school took out all the champion awards. Anita Lewis was awarded senior champion, Thomas Veech junior champion and Ida Gibson sub-junior champion.
“Younger siblings coming through the school made for a full line-up for the pre-school race,” Mrs Hibbins said.
“Thanks to teachers and parents who volunteered with the time keeping and running of events and thanks to the Bogan Shire Council for use of facilities and the Little Athletics for the hire of equipment.”
