Cheers: The reception they gave the boys had to be seen to be believed.

Reserve grade saw Dek's Men go down 24 to 10 to CYMS. Failing to complete our sets hurt us bad, its something that needs fixing. Big Simon Barley was strong up front as were Cameron Bourke and Adi Spicer. Matty Sheather was also strong as was fullback Jackson Hedges who I thought was the best. The under 18s went down 26 to six to the competition leaders. We were down 22 to nil at half time and showed plenty of courage to win the second half six to four. We did this with only twelve men after second rower Liam Durrington was sent from the field early in the half. Our 16 year olds stood to be counted with Terry and Cooper Ryan and Harry Blake all outstanding. I thought Harry was our best. His defence was super and he also troubled CYMS in attack. Huge thank you to our army of supporters. A big thank you to Ally Morris, Anne Waterhouse, Lynn Webster and Nicole Ryder for preparing and serving the food. This weekend we travel to Dubbo taking on Westside in our final game before semi-finals.
