BOWLS: Congratulations to Nyngan No. 4 Pennant teams winning at State level beating St Johns Park in the final yesterday. A fantastic effort. The ladies will travel to Terrigal at the weekend for Grade 4 pennants starting Tuesday. Best of luck girls. Championship games: Semi final Major pairs winners Jenny Parry defeated Rose Ryan. Melissa Arandale defeated Maxine Christoff. Jenny and Melissa will now play the final. Consistency Dianne Smith defeated Maxine Christoff. HCP Pairs Wayne Arandale and Les Bexon defeated Rodney Ryan and Peter Healey. Rick Jermyn and Alex Miles defeated Trae and Damian Smith. Golden Oldies winners Ken Simmonds, Wayne Kearns and Phil Gibson. Wednesday we only had six players Sis, Ronda, Marie, Margaret, Maxine and Sully. Sunday winners Colin Williamson and Ray Anderson visitor from Wangaratta. 

GOLF: Sunday's Stableford, a fair score of 37 points by Pat Walsh and Tex Tomek was the day's best. Trailing by three shots late IN the game Pat gradually made up the leeway to match Tex's score by the 17th, they both had three pointers on the 18th with the count-back in Pat's favour. A late flurry by Tim Tulenew one under for the last six gave him a total of 34 points. Chicky Parry and Bill Hare showed some terrific putting skills. Mid week golf was won by Jenny Holmes with a good score of 37 points, Dolly Ryan was the pin winner, the previous week Tex was a big winner with 42 points, Coleeen Anderson had that lucky number 37 points, plus the pin. Tex as usual won Sunday's pin. Golf next Saturday is for the August Medal. Sunday is a two person medley Ambrose.
