The Big Bogan celebrated his second birthday on Saturday, September 2.

From all reports it was a small gathering, organisers are hoping for a bigger and better party next year.

“It was great to see so many tourists stop and have a sausage sizzle, some party food and to have their photo taken with the birthday boy,” Kathy Korn said.

“Thanks to Amie Taylor for the great birthday cake and to Janet Martin for cutting the cake.”

Deacon Dunn won the canvas print with his own picture on it.

Ms Korn said it was apparent there is need for some signage around the Big Bogan for tourists to find out more about the town’s biggest member. With inclusions about the Big Bogan’s facebook page where people passing through can upload ‘selfies’.
