Despite their fearful appearance the educators were able to make peace with the friendly pirates and a great day was had by all.

The ELC students celebrated “Talk like a Pirate Day” to raise money for Childhood Cancer Research.
“[The students] had a barrel of laughs talking like pirates, hunting for treasure with the Joeys even sending their teachers walking the plank,” ELC director Nichole Jenkins said.
