There will be a community dinner at the Nyngan Bowling Club for $15 a head as well as a charity auction to help the group achieve its overall fundraising target of $100,000.
Organiser of the Nyngan stopover, Rodney Robb, said he hoped to raise up to $3000 in Nyngan for the group.

When it is finished, Macquarie Home Stay will provide accommodation in Dubbo for patients and their families from across western NSW.
Tour de OROC was founded in 2013 as a way to not only highlight the distances involved for people who attend Dubbo Hospital, but also to fundraise for the facility.
This year the riders will travel 1000km over six days, starting in Mudgee and travelling out to Dunedoo and Gilgandra, up to Coonamble and then Walgett, across to Brewarrina and Bourke before heading back down to Nyngan.
The final day will see the peloton drive through Trangie, Narromine and Dubbo.
Rod Crowfoot, the Managing Director of Macquarie Home Stay, said that the facility is forever grateful to the Tour de OROC.
“On the back of the initial event in 2013, we were able to show significant community support and dollars in the bank which helped us secure $3.3 million from the Cobbora Transition Fund to fund the balance of Stage One,” he said.

“The project is hurtling forward now with builders currently tendering to construct Stage One. The entire project is planned in stages so as we secure more funds we can continue to build towards the final vision, which now includes providing the accommodation to support the Cancer Treatment Centre by 2020.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the dinner at the Nyngan Bowling Club. The organisers are also still looking for donated goods to auction.
