Ag ‘n’ Vet are hosting a breakfast at the Bogan Bulls Rugby Clubhouse from 7.30am on Thursday, September 28.
There are a variety of sessions for people who are feeling the effects of the dry weather.
Sessions including drought feeding information and nutritional supplementation and the best use of an unsuccessful crop and stock management options presented by Erica Kennedy District Vet (Local Lands Services).
Health is on the radar too with local mental health services by Dr Merran Auland (Bogan Shire Medical Centre), tools for coping with tough times by Camilla Kenny (Rural Adversity Mental Health Program).
Nyngan Ag ‘n’ Vet’s Emily Pitt and Megan Rogers (Sheep Connect NSW) will be talking about ‘which sheep do I keep’, fallow management and best cropping practices for current season by Josh Driver at Ag ‘n’ Vet.
Gabby Kirk from the Rural Financial Counselling Services will be discussing using financials to get ahead and the Nyngan Health Service will be providing basic men’s health checks.
The event is supported by the Bogan Bulls and the Red Cross Community Hub.
Everyone is welcome and a breakfast is included.
