Ms Kaur was given her citizenship certificate by Mayor of the Bogan Shire Ray Donald at Thursday October meeting.
Ms Kaur is one of more than five people who have been ‘naturalised’ in Nyngan this year.
Five people undertook the oath and became Australian Citizens at the Citizenship ceremony this year.
The mayor and the rest of the council congratulated Ms Kaur on her citizenship.
