High school principal Michael Gibson lead the four laps around Larkin Oval on Friday evening as the people held their lanterns high to show the support.
People held the blue lantern to show their support, the gold lantern to remember a loved one battling or who has battled with blood cancer and the white lanterns are for people who have been through their own blood cancer journey.
