The workshop, titled "Shark Cage Workshop” was created to help girls identify dangerous relationships.
“The Shark Cage Workshop informs those attending of the warning signs that someone may treat them badly and inform the girls of their rights,” Mission Australia Community Service Worker Fiona Garment said.
“The workshop was run by Ursula Benstead a psychologist and counsellor from Melbourne. The workshop was a mixture of talking and craft activities.
“Afterwards the girls said they found learning about their rights and being able to identify shark like behaviour as being amongst the most beneficial things they learnt and what they would take away from the training.”
