Lack of rain likely to continue

Many inland areas in New South Wales have experienced the driest June rainfall on record this year, while areas of the far north east received the highest June rain on record.  According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Nyngan recorded only 11.6 millimetres of rainfall during June 2017, a stark contrast to the same period in 2016, when 150mm of rain fell.
