In the major semi-final Team Discovery convincingly defeated The Disciples sending shockwaves through Sportsbet and TAB websites.
The Disciples had to do it the hard way and win a hard fought final against Elvina Hughan's 'Young Ones' to seek a chance at redemption in the grand final.
On grand final night, in front of a vocal crowd, the two top teams traded shot for shot with the defence of both sides shining through in the first half to finish at 2-2 at the break.

Irish Pete has been a standout all year along with the most improved player of 2017 Alex Toole and with Jordan Rufus making some terrific saves in goals, the final score ballooned out to 11-3.
A huge thanks to the eight teams who participated this year. It was the closest comp in years and the quality only gets better each time.
